2021-22 Team Information

Experience Our Winning Tradition

Our 2020-21 season was certainly one of challenge as we all attempted to navigate a global pandemic. Never has our core motto … Champions Figure It Out … been more applicable.

Our successes last season were due — in very large part — to the flexibility of all involved. A total commitment to making it work was put forth by our coaches, support staff, parents and athletes, as well as the cheer industry itself. With so much that was unknown, we couldn’t be more proud of our athletes who arrived each practice ready to train for any opportunity to compete. And compete they did. Having earned a many championship titles, a Worlds Gold title (Senior Xsmall Coed 6), 2 Summit Gold titles (Small Youth 2 & Small Senior Coed 5) and 7 out of 9 teams advancing to finals in Orlando, GymTyme Illinois is grateful for the season that tested us and made us appreciate the incredible cheer family that we are.

Elite All Star Cheer – Full Season Teams

We are looking forward to the upcoming season as we welcome our returning families, meet new athletes, and begin our Season 7 journey together. We are excited to publish our 2021-22 All Star Elite Program Packet that includes a comprehensive breakdown of the program. Our evaluation and placement process, full season calendar, and detailed pricing structure have all been provided for your review.

Level training groups are a two-week evaluation process. Training groups provide the safest and most accurate way for our staff to evaluate athlete abilities. We firmly believe it is less stressful on athletes as they are allowed more time to show their skills.

MISSED EVALUATIONS? Call us Monday – Thursday between the hours of 4 and 9 pm.

Novice and Prep All Star Teams

Prep Evaluations July 7 & 8. Register NOW!  (Novice athletes do not need to be evaluated so just give us a call to arrange your start date.)

The NOVICE program is designed to introduce smaller athletes to big sport of All Star cheer. The only prerequisites are the ability to listen, a willingness to work hard, and a desire to have fun. Athletes will learn the fundamentals of performance cheerleading and showcase their routine at competition for judges feedback. Novice teams are not ranked against one another.

The PREP program is designed for athletes who have some knowledge of cheer or general athletic abilities. Prep teams are the perfect “bridge” program for families that are new to the sport or are not yet ready to commit to the travel and expense of an Elite team. While Prep athletes practice and compete fewer days, they still benefit from the same certified coaching and skills training as our full season Elite program. Athletes can return to the program each season or they may use the experience to transition to our Elite program.
