Partial Season Teams

ShowTyme Quarter Season High School Cheer (Limited Travel)

Evaluations take place Sunday, Feb. 4 @ 2-4 pm

Designed with the high school cheerleader in mind, ShowTyme is the perfect way to experience all star cheer and still remain true to your school. Athletes receive the same training and competition opportunities as our full season teams with the expectation that you will take what you’ve learned back to your high school program. We also consider junior high school athletes as well as other transferring athletes that meet age and skill requirements.

PrepTyme (Non-Travel)

Evaluations take place December 2018

Download the 2017 info sheet for a sample of costs and other details. A full-season prep program is also offered June-April.

All Star Prep (ASP) is designed as an introduction to All Star cheer. ASP is a USASF-sanctioned division within the All Star cheer industry. Prep cheer is an opportunity for the incoming cheerleader to experience All Star practicing fewer times per week, competing within 2 hours of Chicago, and typically wearing a different uniform. Prep teams compete in their own division against other ASP teams according to specific competition guidelines developed just for ASP where routines are limited to just two minutes, basket tosses are not allowed, and tumbling and stunting skills cap off at level three.

PrepTyme athletes will have the opportunity to experience GymTyme Illinois in much the same way that our full-year All Star athletes do. ASP cheeleaders will train in the same facility and on the same equipment and receive the same USASF-certified instruction. PrepTyme ASP is the perfect bridge program between rec or school cheer and the All Star world.
